At an organization, when a project ends, the output is often figures, spreadsheets, data analysis. For more technical organizations, it might include AI models, both creating and using models, simulations, models, interactive visualization.
These final artifacts usually cannot be easily reproduced after some time, as people have moved on, and tools change. It's often resource prohibitive to fully document how to reproduce both the workflows and the outputs of the workflows.
